 Live Auction Items

  1.  BOTTLE OF FINE PORT OR WINE - From the cellars of Mr. Peter Cook.

  2.  SIGNED COPY OF RITA MAE BROWN'S "FOX AND FURIOUS" - Released in November 2025, this is the latest mystery in Rita Mae's ever popular Sister Jane series. "Fox and Furious" is special, however: the N-T Beagles and staff have a role in the plot! It's a must-read or a great gift for anyone in our hunt country who is familiar with foxhunting and beagling (or would like to be) and will recognize the fixture where the murder occurs. Plus, it will set the stage for the next auction item!

 3.   MURDER MYSTERY HUNT and hunt bREAKFAST - -  this private hunt will be held SUNDAY APRIL 19, 2026, at Stonefield Farm. Pledge for your spot to participate in this Murder Mystery hunt and decadent tea. At least ten lucky people will enjoy an hour or so of hunting during which a murder mystery will unfold. Those who wish to attend without a specific role or character will be asked to pledge $150. We'll need someone to play an investigator (going to the highest bidder), and no doubt an officer of the law! The NTB staff has lots to tell .... but could it be possible one of them is guilty of murder??

Sponsors needed: NTB Kennel Fence Renewal

Last year, damage to the kennel's exterior walls caused by Mother Nature and Father Time

were fixed, much of it by Russ himself.

This year our greatest need is fencing.

It’s been decades since the fence was installed to separate the kennel area and its yards from the other livestock fields. We knew it was weak in some places, but got a surprise last summer when Neutron jumped to escape the drawing pen and the fence went down on top of Uxbridge and Utah. If one hound learns to escape, the lesson will spread through the kennel and soon the pack will be hunting and having their own social events without us. For their safety, secure fencing surrounding the kennel and the hounds “play” yards is a must.

We are getting quotes...it won't be cheap...but it's an expense we cannot postpone.
